Why is this so difficult.. sure it might be a bit slower to load games depending on your speed but it would be the perfect solution (and the only way currently) to share all 4GB of games =D (not that I have anywhere near that amount but I can count and there are plenty of lists =D)
Can this be done already and I just don't know about it? is that what that serv_gui that comes with Multiman is used for?? This sounds like a highly desirable feature...
you replace the internal and external hard drive but a link to a network hard drive. maybe you could simply achieve this by putting shortcuts on an external drive to a network drive location.. you could do this for each game folder maybe.
anyone else think about this and hoping to get it???
Completely agree with you on this dude, also made a topic a while ago about the same subject.
Anyway, i'm sure it wouldn't be that hard, it'd be nice if Dean could implement this on multiman. Loading games through lan is possible. The tough thing is finding someone skilled enough for this.
There is a section in the latest multiman options file for an SMB share but I am not sure what it is used for, my wireless network wouldn't support the throughput.
4GB+ games can be played from external using the cache method currently in Iris Manager (a 3.55 port of Hermes manager)
