How to change any folder's permissions?
How to change any folder's permissions? –
I'm using PS3 Slim, at 3.55 kmeaw CFW.
I have two corrupted save game file(folder more precise), and I've got a corrupted multiMAN item(because of 1.13.01) at XMB(it's also a folder). I cannot delete these items via XMB, gives an error.
I looked that folder's permission via FTP, folder's name starts with "DEL-", but permission's are 700, only owner permissions. I tried to change it to 777, but says unrecognized command. I tried to delete them via FTP, but cannot. Tried with multiMAN's file manager, same here.
How can I change that specific folders' permissions' to 777?
I'm guessing you've got a "Corrupted Data" entry in your XMB as well, and you want to get rid of it? Use the recovery mode to repair your file system, afterwards, if not already automatically deleted, you should be able to delete it from XMB.
Just search this forum if you're unfamiliar with the recovery mode.
Tried your way and it is now done perfectly. Thanks so much for your help.
