possibly renaming the files on the hdd if theyre copied to the external drive since the folders use the identification code and not the actual name.
i would like to see a few things with the next backup manager version, like place games in alphabetical order and also get back out to xmb without having to load a game then quit it.
Bumpity bump bump. Has anyone had luck changing the order of their games in backup manager?
The next version of BM really needs to use the Game Title to name the install folders, not the Game ID
Maybe it's possible to do a hex edit of the backup manager EBOOT.BIN to do this? I will investigate
Had a bit of a poke around the EBOOT.BIN for BM, the only reference to the game title was here:
looks like it does use the sfo file for the info but not sure if we can change it
I may have figured it out. It seems BM lists backups in order of their creation date on the HDD.
Change the creation date on your folders to line up with the order you want your games in, and you should be good to go. worked for me![]()
