im trying to install Cfw both wanikoko and kmeaw. im on 3.55 and have tried to update serval times now but all times the update goes up to 33% and stops go up till 100% aznd no changes are done the only jailbreak thats working is geohotz but no other same thing also happens when i trying to install OFW 3.55 please help

You've got a bad component in your PS3, something unplugged, or HDD corruption. Easiest to figure out first is get another HDD and try putting it in your PS3 and see if you can install the firmware then.

you can also try another usb stick and see if it helps, also make sure is formated in fat32.
Also before going out and buying a new hdd, try formating the hdd first and then try it, make sure you are also in recovery mode aswell, not so much for the ofw, but for the cfw, tho for me, i had to do both from recovery

i have tried two difrent usb sticks no diffrence also tried install update from recovery menu same result all times goes up to 33% then stop and then quickly goes up to 100% but when it it restart it still on orginal 3.55 the only cfw that works to install right now is Geohotz orginal jailbreak. has someone here have the same problems before?

yes forget to mentiton that i have also quick format the hdd from ps3 menu two times but it do not ask me to put in my ofw on usb stick it only says you already have 3.55 bla bla. is it better to use complete format in ps3 menu or connect it to a pc and format it from there.

may be s stupid suggestion, but have you tried redownloading the cfw again?
also did you patch the cfw yourself or downloaded it already patched?
other than that, man good luck, hopefully some one else has an answer for ya

i downloaded pre patched versions of kemaw 3.55 and Waninkoko 3.55 CFW V2 and i also find 3.55 Ofw used two diffrent usb sticks with folder PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDATE.PUP so i have verified that i put in right folder alltime but it weird the Ps3 SLim im using for this is an EU 320gb version was on orginal 3.55 before i started to try update it to Cfw

Problem solved Full Format then reinstall OFW 3.55 and CFW 3.55 on top
