I just traded in my PS3 Slim which i by mistake upgraded to 3.5 and got a new PS3 with FW 3.40. Should i upgrade it to 3.41 or should i stay at this FW and jb it? and if i should upgrade it how should i do it? and where do i get the fw?

Probably best to update to 3.41, you won't get any new features (as they were PSN store related) but at least you know all payloads support it. As for the PUP itself, there are 2 floating about!!! V2 corrects an HDD issue. Ps3-hacks has one, I suggest checking the file hashes before you install any.... just incase its the dreaded 3.42 or 3.50 in disguise!!!
