Yo, what about us 3.15 users here??

Any chance of a CFW?

Do I just use the patch thing on a OFW 3.15?

And no, Im not updating.

The only thing you'll hear is that you're out of luck, and on your own.
Why would anyone bother to patch an old, out of date firmware that doesn't improve anything?

Sure, you still have OtherOS, but that doesn't amount to much anymore. Unless that's what you are most focused on, and in that case, good luck with your decision. ^^

fail0verflow is working on an uber linux patch called AbestOS that will take your PS3 on a rainbow road of magic. Full cell core and full RSX hardware support.

Just have patience. It will come out soon.

I heard of that, thought he had issues with gaining full access to video.

Guess ill keep my pants on for a while more, just dont want to make the move only to be told linux aint gonna come.

I just have bad timing with these kinds of decision. I know im going to update and the next day, they are going to find solution/loophole for 3.15!
Or something really cool that can be only accomplished on an old firm.

You will have to sign your own pkg files and there is no backup loader yet but hey it is a start.

OtherOS is junk. Really you dont want it and devs shouldnt waist there time trying to re-enable it or working on 3.15. It is a sandbox with limited performance.

Asbestos not only gives 3d access but also an extra 16% increase in performance since it has access to an additional cpu core.

Hey, I'm not the one who's trying to use a game console/media center as a computer. All I'm saying is, not many people really care about 3.15 enough to make a CFW for it. Maybe you'll get lucky and some bored developer will announce something though.
