Hey All :D,I have a few questions

Ok first of all im new to jailbreaking and all these stuff,so pls be kind :P
I have ps3 slim (320gb), the amezebreak usb,my firmware is 3.41 and i use open manager.
My firmware keeps me from having some new games in my HDD so i have some questions.
Is there a guide for noobs so i can upgrade my firmware to 3.55 easily?
What will happen to the games i have in my HDD,will i just have to copy them again with a new manager or will i loose everything?(its very important for me cause ive modded some games and it took hours and hours to accomplish that)
And if i get to 3.55,what backup manager do recomend to use?

Any help is accepted,sorry if my english is not good enough to understand what im asking.

If you modded any games on 3.41 to get them to work, you will most likely need to put all the original files back in order for the game to work. I know I have a folder on my PC with all my original files :D

Master thank you for your quick reply,do you think gaia manager is good cause ive read that multiman is one of the best and i wanted to know more.
TThousand i dont know how to do that,the game that ive modded is PES 2011 and the files that i have edited is mostly some png files besides ingame editor.
So i know i wont loose my saved files,but what will happen to the games?
Will i have to delete it from open manager and then copy them again with the new one?Or Will the new manager detect what games are already in my HDD?

I "think" you will be able to keep the games, the new manager will find them, certainly has when ive swapped from geohot to kmeaw in the past..

there is a thread for original eboot files, these are what you will need to replace to work on 3.55, simply overwrite the files.

i favour multiman, never had an issue with it, used to have them all installed, but now just use multiman..

^ agree on all 3 counts there - i've done it a few times and always been ok, would say in my opinion that multiman is the best (and iris for a few split file games)

i would personally save my game saves to a flash drive or something but i do that about once a week anyway
(bit paranoid i think, lol)
though the only thing i would really suggest is to rename your GAMEZ/GAMES etc folder in hdd0 to something like GAMERZ/GAMERS etc... that way if a manager gets removed and it randomly decides to take the games with it (which has been known to happen) then it wont touch the folder as it has a 'different' name than what its looking for

once you're all sorted afterwards just rename your folder back to what it was before and refresh your manager - all the stuff will pop back up and it'll save you a massive effort of copying all the games off and back or re-ripping them

Allright,now another thing, i have found a custom firmware upgrade to 3.55 that it is compatible with the multiman manager and the multiman manager full version,but what happen with my Amazebreak so i can jailbreak?
The only way to update it is with some .bin files that i find in amazebreak.cc.
Where can i find the right .bin file so i can jailbreak with my usb?
P.s. I remind you im new to this so i hope you understand if i say something that sounds stupid.. :D

Now im confused,what do you mean by that?
Dont i have to do the power off-power on and eject button again?
What i usually do is to remove the dongle,power off the ps3 and then put the dongle.switch on and hit the eject button so the dongle LED gets red and i can have access to the manager,or else i cant...

after you upgrade to the 3.55 CFW, the Jailbreak is already implemented into the firmware, what this means is you can take your amazebreak and put it in a drawer somewhere, no more hard power off/start/eject
