Herms v4 and 3.15

This is something that i don't understand, the 3.15 and other version are all hex files, and herms are hex file too. i don't if i am wrong but how can i use herms on 3.15??

Only if someone edits it for 3.15. The .hex files aren't universal for all firmwares.
