hermes CFW > kmeaw CFW

I just have a few questions about going from hermes' 3.41 cfw to kmeaw's 3.55 cfw. my console came with 3.41 pre-installed, so should I go to 3.41 ofw before going to 3.55 ofw or 3.42 ofw? does anyone know where I can download 3.41 ofw or 3.42 ofw too? i've tried searching everywhere and can't seem to find any links.

go to 3.55 OFW

then go into recovery and instal 3.55 CFW Kmeaw ;)

these questions could have easily been answered by simply using the search bar on the upper left hand corner of the screen. with that said...

cfw 3.41>ofw 3.41>ofw 3.55>cfw 3.55

if u have trouble installing from xmb, do it via recovery mode. off the top of my head, ps3-hacks has an entire downloads page devoted to all revisions of firmware. please search before posting a thread next time.

no offense, but I did search everywhere for the ofw's and was just trying to double check what I should do. nowhere on this site did it say to go off site to find the ofw's. read the first post next time.

Just out of curiosity, why would you want to go to kmeaw's from hermes' ? There's no advantage whatsoever.

just cause I want game updates lol. I would have gladly stayed on hermes had I not tried to update and gotten screwed over.

Wake up! You can't get on PSN with 3.41 Hermes CFW. That's the biggest advantage I see. Another is you need to modify EBOOTS from 3.41 CFW for newer games to work. ;)
