Save games, other game data, PS3 OS?

i checked it I found 5 gig in other game data. Ps os takes 5 gig of my 60 so in system info it says for example: 5/55. And saved games is not much just about a couple of megs. So there is still about 7 or 8 gig missing?
Thank you.

Could be a cluster size issue. I don't know what the native cluster size is on a PS3 FS, but if any files are under the size of that cluster, then they will become the size of that cluster as reported to the OS. In other words, if you have a bunch of games with really small files, then this could eat up substantially more space then a game with a couple of big files.

Well, if you know a game that has a bunch of small files, try removing it from your internal HD. If the space free'd up is more then the actual size of the game, then you know that's what's happening. The only way to fix it, is to install your games on an external.
