Ahh finally a little light in the end of the tunnel, will try this when I get home. Lucky me for having and Xtreamer Ultra with Linux on it ... Thanks for the info jasmart! I'll report back...
PS3 PARAM.SFO Reader
no problem. I didn't bother with the Linux version of the Paramo.sfo readers as there are windows ones. Try using this one, it shows the account id on the screen grab.

Ok so a little luck combined with super unluck, I got my hex user id sorted out and the user loads up fine. But now all my trophys are gone (guess that's why I can load the games without getting the error) and my saves will fail. Any input?..
Righty, back again. Tried something else with a little more luck, checked the .sfo of my trophies instead and I found out that the hex was totally different so I tried that instead and whoila the ps3 logged into my account with no errors with all the saves and trophies... Started up FFXIII and no errors with the trophies registration BUT it says that the saves are from a different user rebuilding database now to see if it makes a difference but I doubt it. But how come my trophies ID differs from my saves?..

The only explanation for that is that you didnt earn those trophies on the same account you made the saves. Did you have multiple accounts or PSN log ons on the old system?
I've just checked a bunch of mine and the user id is exactly the same on all saves and trophies
Hey there again Got a new nut for you to crack, last time I had a problem with Trophy registration on my account after my PHAT got a YLOD.
Fixed it with some help from you guys, got the hex value from a linux program and entered it in my xregistry file and voila! worked perfectly.
Now the problem I have now is that the PHAT YLOD again, luckily I had all my users backed up on my hdd, so I bought a new slim with cfw and transfered my users back onto it. Then I took my xregistry and entered the hex once again and voila! it worked perfectly...that is with MY account, the problem is with my girlfriends account. She has never had a PSN account as she created her user after the PHAT was jailbreaked, this resulting in that she has no npaccount id and the saves has no hex value under the advanced settings in the Linux sfo editor. So her account gives the same error I once got that trophy registration failes, tried to remove the trophies and started FFXIII and it worked, loaded the save file and it says that the save games are from another user.
Sooo this is the same problem I had before with my account but I have no idea how to solve this one as I don't have a npaccount id to simply enter in the xregistry this time.
Please help, there must be something I'm missing...
