    Hi,

    I have have:

    - CFW 3.55
    - blackb0x v1.2
    - gaia manager v2.6
    - a Mac
    - a game I want to transfer from Mac to PS3 using FTP

What should I do(or what am I doing wrong)?

I have Filezilla and have gotten connection to my PS3 using blackb0x. But when I'm going to transfer the game folder to "GAMEZ" on hdd0 someting it doesn't work. WHY?

Could I transfer direct from my Mac to my PS3 using ethernet cable between them?

Use active connection in your FTP client instead of PASV. Also, create the initial folder that you'll be transferring your files into. Ex. You want to transfer a game with the folder title of BLES082313 (not a real ID). Create a folder in your games folder with the same ID, and then transfer all the files inside of your folder to that folder you created. If this still doesn't work, make sure you have the right location for your games backup. The best way to tell where your games should be is to backup a game on your PS3 and see where it saves it. FTP your BLES/BLUS/etc folders into that location.

LOL, I have a wireless N router and a wireless N bridge. Router is connected to computer, bridge is connected to PS3. Got to say, it's slower then wired, but it's not as bad as straight wireless G. I was still pulling 3MB/sec, which isn't great, but for something I just started transfering and then watched some TV, it wasn't bad.

It's working now. But it's only transferring at about 60 KB/s which will take ages. My PS3 is connected via wire but my macbook wireless. What can I do differently? Use wired connection from macbook to router?

Yep, or wired between the PS3 directly to the Mac. You'll have to set your IP addresses by hand if you do this.

yeah i have an N router myself but my PS3 and laptop i ftp from are typically on the third floor in my entertainment room while my router and my Macs are on the second floor so i just haul my PS3 downstairs and hard wire to my router.

if it's smaller files, say ROMS, i am moving then it's fine but with bigger files i just hook straight into the router.
