HELP!!! Ill paypal $20 for a fix!! TWO ps3,s both with error 8002f2c5 and 8002f225 when updating

Ok I have a 60g with 3.15 fw and a 40g with 3.50 fw. Both have the same exact problems. Everytime I try to update them to 3.55 they give me either 8002f2c5 or 8002f225
during update. I have tried reformatting both hdd in ntfs with my computer . I have tried getting them into FSM but for some reason neither will go into fsm using my E3 reader. They both just turn on and never go into fsm. The reader works fine Ive tested it on several other systems. I have tried loading the FW from both the recovery menu and get 8002f2c5, and both from the XMB and stop at 4% with a 8002f147 error.
I have done alot of searching but nothing is working. Usually these errors are associated with the 3.56 update issue but systems firmwares are below that issue so Im stumped.
I will paypal $20 to who ever can solve this issue or give point me to a fix. Im a man of my word so if you figure it out I WILL pay. Both ps3,s need to be sold and will bring alot more money up and running right.

Wasn't sure if it belonged in general disc or jailbreak disc. Not sure if there are any CFW that might fix this. But thanks for the helpfull input

where did you get the update pups from?

try this...
3.55 OFW

be sure to put it in the proper folder/directory format.
be sure you use all capital letters

The FW,s are all good. Ive used them on several other systems with no issues. As far as the folders I put them in just as you have listed. Thanks for the reply though. Any other thoughts?
Im starting to suspect they are partially bricked in some way, or the file directory's are messed up? Sorry if that make no sence I dont speak tech very well

have you ever tried to reinstall the firmware its on right now?

try to install it on recovery, if it fails. format ps3 and restore file system. then retry to update.

if that dont work, then you could have a hardware failure somewhere
