Help with Heavy Rain - Tried Everything
Help with Heavy Rain - Tried Everything –

I've read all the tutorials on how to backup Heavy Rain and nothing seems to work.
I backed the disc up directly to the internal harddrive - there are no Heavy Rain files pre-psjailbreak on the system - I deleted the update folder with PS3 FTP and it still hands on the loading screen when starting the game.
Is there a step missing - has anyone else had this issue.

I just ripped heavy rain myself and it works just fine. Might be the disc you're using to "load" the game, I'm using Uncharted 2 as my loading disc. Try deleting all game updates AND game saves.

I've tried with Resident Evil 5 and Burnout and it still hangs.

I dont think is worth having heavy rain on your HDD. I didn't Like it. Its kinda of annoying at some point of the game.

that's odd, I've played up to level 5 and found it to be "different" but quite good, every review I've seen rates it pretty highly.

what type of internal hdd do you have and what is the game id of your heavy rain, also what type of JB device are you using?

got a Western Digital Blue Scorpio 750gb, which everyone said would make heavy rain skip audio/video like a mofo, but it doesn't, it only skipped at the credits, the actual game works flawlessly. No idea about game ID, the JB method is PSFreedom on my HTC G1 phone.

I'm using the stock hdd that came with the Fat 80gb PS3. The Game ID is BCUS98164 and I'm using the Max AVR USB. So far everything else has worked perfectly.
