Help with hdd upgrade –

Hello there i thought this question would he most relevant i. Here so here it goes ppl:
Ive got a ps3 slim eur with 120 gb hdd, my question wats the best hdd touse on it and also will be allow me to use cfw onto it? Im looking for about a 1tb hdd internal.
Reason for that is that most games work internally backed up right? Thats y?

well i do not own a slim one, but my fat one i just upgraded from 60 to 500 gb today, and it was easy and simple,i didnt backed up anything, cus i really didnt care lol but it shouldnt be much different, and yes some games rae better from internal hdd, specially those with files larger than 4gb...good luck

You can't fit a 1TB hdd inside a PS3.
Currently all 2.5'' hdd 1TB are 12.5mm and PS3 only fits regular 9.5mm hdds.
Biggest one you can fit is 750GB, but those are brand new and a bit expensive.
I'd recommend a 500GB 5400rpm green drive from WD or Seagate.

Yes you can (Not sure about the slim one's), take a look at this guide.
This thread (Stuttering on internal hdd) may help you pick the right HDD.

edit: guys, who using an external hdd with 2tb or more?
if so please post link with the one your using it would really help me decide which one to use with backup manager
