Help deciding purchase
I first bought a PS3Break which was advertised as upgradable. Unfortunatelly I got the PIC 1.0 version and we all know it won't be updatable :( So decided to buy a knew USB dongle that is PSGroove compatible and ask before the purchase.
These are the dongles I have a choice to buy, but I don't know if they are PSGroove compatible and how many kb the flash memory is:
PS3Break 1.0 atmel mega32u version
Thanks for any answers :)
i'd get a generic one, instead of those branded.
check psgroove chip list, compare and look for those dongles. it might work out better for you in the long-term, especially if you get one with higher capacity that allows for bigger payloads.
Aren't those generic ones just the PCB without casing? I'd like one with a shell that's why I'm looking for a branded one.
you can always make a case. or use an existing one.
i don't quite trust those branded ones, unless they have been tested and identified. if i were to get one i would go for one that can be flashed easily with arbitrary payloads and has highest possible capacity.
And that one would be? That is what I'm asking.
