I am just wondering from any of those that have played through Heavy Rain, should I be playing this game with the regular controller or the move controller?

Cause playing with the Move controller seriously makes me want to burn my PS3 Move controller and Heavy Rain in a fire...For f*$k sake the movements are ridiculous and don't work most of the time. It is making this game practically unbearable.

Anybody make it through this game and if so what is the most reasonable way to play the game?
As far as I know, my ps3 has never had an undetected error.

I have not tried with the Wiimote, sorry move controller, but I finished it fine with the normal gamepad.

Move support was added with a patch, so maybe thats why its shite.
Make sure you butter the non reflective side of your CD's / DVD's and Blu-Rays so that when you drop them, they land butter side down thus preventing scratches.

i've played this game through 4 times (for different endings - wont spoil it)
3 times with controller and once (the fourth time) with move controller

have to say i preferred the dualshock to be honest thats why i went back to it on the last attempt

only my opinion though - i too thought the move was a bit crap in this game
its not piracy if you dont own a sword or a parrot

Join the club, I'd love to know what the point of the move is? If anyone can clarify this for me it'd be great. The only decent use of it i've come across is that block building game. Short of that its been a bloody useless, very expensive bit of kit.

Personally i'd not recommend getting one to anybody.

Yes, it does suck bad with the move. You're not alone thinking that.

Excellent for shooters, if done well. RE5 and Killzone 3 work great. Personally, I suck at playing shooters with controllers because it takes me forever to aim that way. I come from the days of doom and quake on pc, where keyboard and mouse ruled. I think for a lot of people, that hasn't changed. I do have plenty of experience playing fps with a controller, particularly the timesplitters games on ps2 (which were great), but it's just not the same for me. Using the wiimote or move (yeah, they're basically the same) feels a lot like keyboard and mouse to me: point and click all the way.

But the major problem with the move to me:

Support. Since motion support is the basis for the Wii, Nintendo takes it seriously (obviously they have to) and for more than just shooters. My main fear with the move was that Sony wouldn't support it as much, and so far I think that's what's happened. Supposedly Uncharted 3 will have Move support, thankfully, but there needs to be a lot more.
