look at the physical hdmi port on the back of the ps3, is it damaged?
Take a photo of it!
There is no physical damage to the port at all.
I'm wondering if running it through an HDMI switch would solve my issue, because it works on my Dell monitor. Maybe if I got converters and created a cable that converted HDMI->DVI->HDMI it would work, I'd just lose the sound, which I could deal with as my TV can do RCA+HDMI at once.
These are things I'll have to try I suppose, nothing else seems to work.
why would you goto HDMI->DVI->HDMI??? why not just get an HDMI extender like this

PS:im not trying to be rude.. i just want to know for my own knowledge.

I doubt it matters much (if at all) but could we have the brand of TV your using? . . . Different thought, if you connect just the HDMI to the TV (& PS3) see if you can get any sound coming from the TV -- or if you have a receiver from the speakers.
I've already tried switching the source if you read back.
No audio nor picture, all I get is 'No Signal'. It works using DVI for some reason, so I think the converter solution will work.
if your good at soldering you could try HDMI Connectors : HDMI DVI Connectors : Maplin
@Mr.GoodFrag
I've had a blank(no "no signal" message) black screen couple of days ago after about half year working fine,it was only if I used hdmi,component and rca worked well,I've tried everything "2 beeps" method,going to recovery until I've restored database,file structure etc. and nothing worked.My solution was:turn off ps3 pull power cord out,turn monitor off and pull monitor power cord as well,five minutes after its started to work again.
