Having trouble FTPing a 12gig file to my internal

Yes it's the 12gig GT.VOL file from Gran Turismo 5, but I'm not having the usual connection interruption issue.

The entire 12 gigs uploads to the ps3 internal, yet when I look at the size after the transaction finishes it shows up as being around 3.5gb. I have deleted the file and re-uploaded many times now and it always ends up showing up as 3.5 gigs even though the transfer goes through uninterrupted.

If anyone could share any ideas as to how I can solve this it would be appreciated. I am on Kmeaw 3.55 if it matters. Also, I have at least 30gb free on the internal HDD so that shouldn't be the issue.

Your file is transferred just fine. It's just the ftp-program (I'm guessing Filezilla) misreading size on HDD.

It goes funky with everything over 4 Gb so what you are seeing is 11,2Gb - 4Gb - 4Gb = 3,2 GB

I have tried playing the game and I mostly get trophy errors of some sort or a black screen.

Thanks for the heads up. Now I have to figure out why GT5 isn't working
