reset the video preference on your ps3 here is how to do it: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKqxo4sgh5k]YouTube - ‪Resetting Video Preferences on your PS3‬‏[/ame]
if that doesnt work buy a new hdmi cable

umm.. Sorry Youtube is banned in my country, and also connection is just 5kb/sec LAN, how do i reset video preference can you tell me ? and I just notice something when I plug it to HDMI/DVI port 1 display is dark, when I plug it into HDMI2 display looks bright, and When I select 1080P in port 2 nothing comes, in port 1 I can but spot comes up.
Please I need some advice.
Thanks.
Try a better quality HDMI cable.
On the 2nd matter, since HDMI1 is sharing with DVI mode, I think it's set to DVI mode. Try to set it back to HDMI mode using your Remote Control.
Turn the TV on and turn it to the HDMI channel that you are using
Press and hold the power button and hold it until a screen comes up saying it detected an HDMI cable. I'm sure you need to connect your PS3 controller to your PS3 using an usb cable (correct me of I'm wrong)
If that doesn't work, buy a better HDMI cable
What country do you live in?
Okie, I'll try holding power button and reset and try, I live in Myanmar, yeah i can use proxy to go blocked sites but streaming video with my LAN is not possible, because even 30mb file download takes me at least 1hour. turtle connections here in myanmar, heard one foreigner said in one of the cyber cafe here "shit! connection s**** here i'm going" I Lol'd. :-)
Thanks for the replies.
Do you no if your cable is 1.0 .1.3 1.4?
I now orlder cables do not support 1080P, i bought a 1.4 cable and it plays 1080 fine.
