Have the Jailbreak people said anything about an update yet?

Just curious, because they kept claiming the Jailbreak will be updateable to work with future Sony firmware. Then when Sony releases an update, no word on progress or anything from them or anyone else.

Has 3.42 been deemed unhackable and the Jailbreak people just gave up already?

RichDevX has claimed that it has been totally patched out in the new update. So unless they have a completely new exploit in their hands, this isn't going to work on 3.42.

Microsoft killed the Jtag hack with an update, they admitted there was no way around it but no one was making money out of that hack, it's different with the PS3 hack it requires 3rd party hardware that people make money on, expect plenty of bullshit.

Yeah, they said this during the release of the 'sample' dongles, my guess is (and I'm clearly not alone) is that this is simply a marketing ploy.

Like it happend with PS2 90004 8c and later and FreeMcBoot.. when they patch a bug i think it's patched for good .
Good new is this exploit is the trojan horse for PS3 ,anything can happen from here ..a CFW , a modchip , return of Linux..etc
