Alright here is my issue. Got a couple of games i put on Kemaw FW from the original disc, and played off the internal HD. They will play from 5 mins to an hour, but eventually the HDD indicator will stop turning on, game will stay stuck on some sort of a loading process. (Whether it says loading or is actually attempting to load something in the background varies). So, I started to think possibly the HDD was going bad.

Now, next problem. I went out and got an External HDD. Now it is Fat32, recognized all that jazz. Transferred over a game and about half way through gave me a fatal error during transfer. Had to try a few times, got it transferred just fine. Now the 2nd game is giving me fatal error as well, but I cant tell if my PS3 HD is just going out during the process, or the external is.

A weird thing also, after these fatal errors of transfer, Multiman is not detecting the HDD anymore. I am having to go turn it off by the power switch, and back on before it will recognize again.

It is a 1 TB External, has its own independent power source. I am not sure if I am missing anything, but this is getting rediculous. I just spent 80$ to replace the bluray laser in the PS3, and now something else seem to be going wrong with my PS3. Can someone PLEASE explain/help me with this so that I have confidence in my PS3 again, or is my PS3 probably about to hit the bucket and die over?

I seriously doubt this is the external drive, since it happens off internal drive as well, but the tricky part is why its dissapearing on multiman after transferring or sitting there a while.
