Guitar Hero 3 DLC

Hi,

I tried to get the free dlc's for GH:3. But when I created a psn account, my console was already banned. Is there a way to get the DLC even though the console is banned?

The DLC I had in mind was the Boss Battle DLC - It's free.

Currently, no there's no way to connect to PSN on a banned PS3.
Keep on the lookout on the news page for an app called "PS_Unban". What that does is it temporarily change you PSID, so then you can connect to PSN.
They have been fast lately to patch it though.

That's not entirely true. You can get back on PSN but you would need to obtain a valid IDPS. Don't waste your time with the public unban apps since there's so many people that use them and these are the same people that are going to get back online and cheat or play COD Black Ops 2 and get it banned again. That's why they're only good for a week or two at most

I've helped a few people so I know it works. They've been back online for months without problems

I'm not really looking to get back online on psn as i'we never really used it, all I want is that dlc, I see people releasing dlc-unlockers so I guess It's possible to get the GH:3 DLC aswell? Would greatly appreciated anyone doing it.

Unfortunately we're not allowed to share DLC here even if it's free. Also I can't link you to a thread that has all the Guitar Hero/Rock Band stuff you could ever want either without breaking the rules here. I think google should be able to help you find what you're looking for

Okey, thanks, I found said .pkg. put it on a usb stick and installed it on my ps3. Now the game wont move past "Checking your HDD. Do not turn off your system" Any ideas how to remove what i just installed?

Sounds like you found some junk. Open up the pkg in Pkgview. Navigate as far into the pkg as you can go and look at the directory name there. That's what you need to delete from dev_hdd0/game/GAMEID. Each DLC gets installed to it's own folder. You just need to figure out which one

I don't think its junk downloaded it from the zeuz server.
Deleted the BOSS_PACK folder, now it starts normally again.

Any idea how can I make it work? I have never used reactPSN before

Does your firmware support reactPSN? What firmware are you using?

afaik I'm using the latest rogero cfw 4.30. Although it says 4.31 in the system information.
