Going back to 3.55 OFW from 3.55 KMEAW ?

Hi Guys,

I have a fat ps3 60 gb (eur version) with card reader which is on 3.55 KMEAW.
The bluray drive inside is dead, well I changed the lense 2 times, it works 5 min, then same problem. So I guess the problem is with the entire br drive itself or the board on the br drive. I bought a YLOD PS3 (same model) which has a working bd drive and Fifa 11 br stuck in it ...

I saw its possible to pair the drive (of the YLOD ps3) with the board of the faulty drive by downgrading from OFW 3.55 to 3.41 then 3.15...

How can I go back to 3.55 OFW to downgrade to 3.41, then to 3.15 to put the new drive in ? Loosing my backup or saves on it is not an issue as I got the original BR games and I've finished all games on this one ...

To go from 3.55 cfw to 3.55 ofw you must use the recovery menu.

Ok so it's exactly the same menu when you want to go from 3.55 OFW to 3.55 CFW.
