get updated rosters for sports games??

i'm gonna be getting a couple of sports games like nba2k11 and i know there's gonna be changes to the rosters by the time it comes out. they usually update automatically through psn, but since i don't have psn now, is there any way that i would be able to download rosters updates from somewhere else then ftp to the ps3?

Rosters are save files not attached to your profile which means they aren't locked so yes it's possible.

As for 2k11 and any other sports game this year , it's early to release updates, but they will come.

?? and what roster updates have you tried?

Not sure about all games, but with Madden 11 - the answer is YES.
NOT via online, but you can grab the roster file from the aforementioned operation sports and just drop it in the right directory via FTP - the roster will load automatically - (i.e. you can't load it from the file management section from within madden, it just starts with the new rosters)

Yeah I'd like to hear what games you tried as well. It's nice to give a quick concise answer, but not if it's misinformation (bullshit).
