Get technical with me –

Ok, what I am asking is for someone to give me a reason why there may or may not be a CFW that can be installed on top of OFW.
I am asking this because since we now have the lv0 keys for every OFW since 3.55 and we also have the bootldr keys for the older PS3 systems there is CFW available but it can only be installed from 3.55 or earlier.
Can't they just resign the .pup's to be run from the newer OFW's?
Please correct me if I wrong.

We can't sign PUPs because we don't have the private keys. They are not the same thing ad lv0 keys. There have been so many treads started about this. If you want a deeper understanding just google PGP to see how something like this works.

I guess I am sorry?
I am going to look up what you said too.
I know that there are private keys, the only system I really got deep into hacking was the PSP so what I am working off is what I know about each of the systems.
