get into service mode with 3.55 and ti-84 –

so i have a ti-84 and i was wondering if i could use that to get into service mode , i mean i already tried with the caculator and it said done and the ps3 turn itself off just like if i was getting into service mode but i also have an rsod and was wondering for other people with the rsod.
when in service with and rsod is the red screen suppose to show up , or is it not when getting into service mode. i saw someone on youtube use his ti-84 to get into service on 3.55, i think it worked because now i can't even get into recovery mode the ps3 just shuts itself off when i try
edit: i even put .self file 2 and it shutdown the ps3 and i can get back into recovery so apparently it was in service mode ..but my question still stands ...i think i am getting into service mode but how can i tell with rsod?

Get the downgrader files. (google it)
Put the second lv2diag.self file on it's own on the root of a flash drive.
Power on the ps3 with only the flash drive plugged in. When it turns off unplug the flash drive and power back on.
You will be in normal mode.
In future, check first before you flash/install things.
You set your calc up for downgrading Instead of jailbreaking and you need to change it back before you try again.
