Games you use to load backups may affect BM compatibility

Something I´ve stumbled upon...

I usually use Rock Band 2 as my "loader disc" since I play it all the time, but this morning I decided to put in Final Fantasy XIII because i was planning on playing it after a little session with my 3d dot heroes internal backup.

3D dot heroes would freeze at a black screen, the whole PS3 for that matter (PS button wasnt working) if FFXIII was in the drive. I tried loading it 3 times and no go... Finding that weird, and knowing that it was combatible. I tried booting it again but this time with Rock band 2 in the drive... this time it worked flawlessly. It may have to do with FFXIII being such a huge game and mess stuff up.

the point I´m trying to make is if a game doesnt work at first it you should try another game in the drive.

by the way I jailbroke my PS3 with PSfreedom using Iphonelinux and was using the original Backup Manager

i actually noticed the same thing. i heard there are also issues with some games if you use the dev launcher.

You're telling me. I'm the one who manages it. I've asked for help but no one has chimed in. Lots of takers here not so much on the giving side of things

it already is i think (no offence), because ive had people tell me codmw2 works fine on internal hard drive, yet its listed as not working ?

The list is more or less accurate. I too have noticed discrepancies with games people say don't work and they do for me.

I always use Rachet and Clank : Tools of Destruction for my BD that i need to use for BM to work. Only had 1 problem and that was Timeshift and others have complained as well

maybe you should just standardize it and tell people to test with a certain game. like mw2 which a good amount of people own.

As far as testing goes, the broader the testing the better. There should just be a slot on the list for "game in drive"
