About LinkBacksSo after seeing the post over at http://psx-scene.com/forums/showthread.php?t=65965 ([Tut] How to install PKG files via FTP) i decided i was going to give game updates a try. The particular game i would like to update is modnation racers as it runs horribly slow without the update (that fixed long load times/etc).
I've tested this process with a legit disc (killzone 2, update to 1.28 then 1.29) and it works fine....
am i missing something here? is the eboot coded in updates so it only runs off disc?
EDIT: i backed up my killzone2 and it seems to work fine with updates. i guess this comes down to the compatibility.. but why is it some games work and some dont for updateS?
