game updates?

okay so i am noobish!,

i have a ps3break 1.1, updated with 1.4b and open manager 1.161,
i am transfering games via blackbox 1.2 via ftp to internal drive,
i only have the ethernet cable connected when using ftp......but,
there are game updates available.....can i update safely?

or should this temptation just be forgotten?

Update while you still can!!! Just double check the compatibility list first PS Jailbreak Compatibility List - Home to make sure you game can be updated. MOST games play with the updates now with Hermes v4 and Open Manager 1.16-1.17. Good luck.
