Game Updates

HI All,

Am I right in thinking that you cant get game updates when using backup manager and that there is no way around it, ie even if you use the original disc outside of BM to download the update...

Just making sure I understand and havent missed anything

For those wondering - I am talking about FIFA11

Game updates behave strangely. I successefully installed an update for Sonic Unleased using original disc and in notjailbroken state. The entered jailbroken state, made a backup of sonic game, launched it and everything worked with the update. But other games (major part of them i believe) do not work like that. Lets take heavy rain. I updated it to version 2.0 using original disc and tryed to launch in jailbroken mode from disc - everything worked, but from backup - it doesn't.

try using a debug update. I've had a lot of success with them.

Some of them even fix games that don't run! (Disgaea 3 for example)

It is because Sonic: Ultimate Genesis collection doesn't require an install, whereas Heavy Rain does I believe
