    Hi everybody

    little big question:

with last payload ok, games update works without any problems,

but if update is inside a menu game like fifa11 (my fifa) to update players etc...

    and pes2011?

how it's possible update all games that have this type of update?

i can't try to use ps3 proxy to see if ps3 download and install a .pkg for these type of updates, because i don't have two ps3 with different firmware, in this case 3.41 and 3.50, but only a 3.41 unit.

i hope that someone can make light for this question\problem

    thanks a lot

I use NZHawk's Awsome Update Finder .03. You enter the TitleID of the game you want to update. It spits a long url that you can copy and paste that will d/l the update .pkg. Then just copy it to the root of a USB stick, and launch under "install package". Dunno if this is true for roster updates or not if this is what you are asking.

nope, this program catch a "normal" update links

if you have a ps3 connected in internet ( no psn), if you start a game, xmb (ps3 menu) ask if you want to update... isn't this type of update that i means

this update with last payload it's possible

but inside menu game, there are another update that's possible if you are connect to psn

Same updates I think. Bear in mind some update do require PSN authentication. But updates are updates in this case unless, like I said, you need roster updates or it is one of those that requires PSN logon.

Edit: For instance, the most current update of FIFA 11 US version is 1.02. I think this will help ya. Try in instead of the "nope" without even trying.

Was the game even working before? Putting a patch update on a USB stick and updating isn't going to cause the game to stop working unless you did something wrong or it wasn't even working to begin with. What payload are you using and which backup manager?

You need to download the pkg and use demomanager to patch it. Just download demomanager, extract to a folder, open the folder and drag the pkg over the demomanager.exe, it will create a folder with a number on youre desktop. Copy the pkg in that folder. After that copy the folder to dev_hdd0/vsh/task/ and shut down ps3. start ps3 in normal mode, not jb. Install the update via the game menu. Restart in JB and youre game should be updated and run perfect.

Is there a way to transfer via external hd like stated before put the .Pkg file in the root folder of external hdd and just install. Does this method work instead of using ftp?

This method installed retail packages fine, but don't know an actual way to try and see if it updated.
