Game Save Question

Hello...

Back in September when I originally bought my XPLAIN Board, I backed up my copy of God Of War 3 into my internal Hard Drive.

I had played quite a bit of the game but at one point I deleted my HD copy of God Of War 3 from the internal.

About a week ago I re-installed my backup of the game but when I go to play, there is no option to load a saved game.

The game save data still shows up on my PS3, but the game doesn't allow me to access it.

A while back I cloned my data from one PS3 to another but that wouldn't affect it right?

Can someone point me in the right direction?
