game dlc

Hey iv got a code for Mafia 2 dlc i wanna get the DLC but in order to do so would mean updating my ps3. Is there a way i can download the dlc to my pc using the code? I know there is a way to redeam a code on https://store.playstation.com/accoun...elTarget=pcCAM

But i dont think that will give me a .pkg lol.

Any ideas? I really wanna play the DLC.

You'd need another PS3 to download the package, and you would need your PC to sniff out the link to the package.

AFAIK that's the only way to get anything in PKG format. Sadly, even if you managed to get it, you would probably still have to "activate" it on PSN, which you can't do.

Don't supose anyone with a normal ps3 could do this for me ?

They could get you the link, but you're SOL when you need to activate anything.

Yeah but atleast id be one step closer to having it. Sure there will be a way to activate packages down the line.

hopefully when a CFW is released we could hurry up and get online long enough to redeem our DLC codes. I have a couple already I'd like to install.
