I just bought my new ps3 does someone want to post the 2nd version of 3.41 (the good one). I can't seem to find it. Thanks

It is still available directly from Sony themselves:

And in the future you can find all the valid MD5 hashs and all the firmware links from this site, thanks to the hard-work of ModRobert over at Eurasia, in keeping it always updated, even has the newest v3.50 firmware on it:

running a Maximus now.

I'm currently on 3.41 - from when I last had it connected to the net which was quite a few weeks ago.

Is there any way to know from the ps3 itself which exact version its on, as in the buggy 3.41 or bugfixed 3.41? Anyone know what the specific fixes were meant to be for between the 2 versions?

Let's hope Sony won't do a ninja file swap and replace the file on the link with a 3.50 update lol

That would be pretty funny actually.

That's why you always triple check the md5 hash on the file before updating (3.50 disguised as 3.41 will have a different md5)

hi i checked the md5 from the 3.41 us file i downloaded i got:
E07D2B84C9E9691C261B73E5F1AADA20

is this the right file?

edit: i figured it out, it is the right file. thanks for the link!
