Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask but,
I seem to have run into a bit of trouble while using FTP to browse my ps3, I might just be paranoid, but I cant seem to see my dev_hdd0/vsh/task folder anymore, or any folders in dev_hdd0/vsh/, all I see on Filezilla is rtcalarm.dat. I was using my Ipod video with rockbox to jailbreak ps3 and while I was using FTP and Multiman, I couldn't access certain folders and some folders seemed to have been hidden (unless I was imagining it..) and I also couldn't create directories in dev_hdd0, So I shutdown my ps3, and rebooted into Jailbreak mode once again, now using Blackbox and I can create directories and see the directories, but now im missing the folders in dev_hdd0/vsh/, such as task and pushlist. Everything seems to be working correctly, but I just wanted to make sure I didn't screw something up and will soon brick my ps3 or anything like that. Can anyone help me out and tell me what went wrong or if the folders are vital and if they can be restored?
    Thanks in advance

You're probably using a PL3 payload. It changes hdd0 directory permissions. Try using a Hermes payload and see if anything changes.

Thanks for the response, im using Hermes 3.55 v4b spoof.
Also just went into Multiman and the directories changed again, more directories show up in Blackbox, Still no folders in /vsh/ though

new to this so sorry if im making some noob mistake xD

EDIT: Think I see where I went wrong, wasn't refreshing directories properly on FileZilla, Everything is appearing as it should again. Really new to this so can anyone explain to me why I sometimes can and can't create new folders?

Do you get the permission to set new directories. I think you don't get the high permission.

Use PL3 DEV and you should be fine. I went through something like this myself. It's all about permissions. Switching to PL3 DEV when using FTP should solve your problems.
