Hey guys, I am trying to transfer over a backup to my PS3 from my computer using the lastest blackbox ftp application. I am using filezilla to transfer my files and when I place them all in ever single file fails transfer... What should I do? I am pretty sure this is suppose to happen but my ps3 turns the tv black during file transfer.

    pic of ftp...

Set your threads/connections to 1 instead of 2.

Regardless, all the FTP servers will freak out with more then one connection and generally send the PS3 into a panic. It's best just to set it to one thread and not have to worry about it.

Thats not really what I was trying to say :P My current problem is that a 1.50kb file has been transferring for almost 30 minutes O.O

Are your threads set to 1? Because your picture above shows you using 2+ threads.

If threads and maximum simultaneous transfers are the same thing then yes. I couldn't find the spot that specifically said threads... (sorry for being a noob)

Edit -> Settings -> Transfers -> Max simultanious transfers -> Set to 1.

Another reason you may be having the issue is PASV vs Active mode.

Edit -> Settings -> FTP -> Passive selected and Allow fall back checked.

If that doesn't work (or is what you're already set to), try switching to Active.

Also, last suggestion is try FlashFXP. Users have reported a higher success rate.

I am able to use blacb0x 1.2 and filezilla 3.3.5.1 with simultaneous connections. I had a similar problem to this once and had to exit both blackb0x and filezilla then restart them and it worked.
