When I try to transfer something from the PS3 to my computer, the server crashes instantly. However when I upload a file to the PS3 it has no problems.

Passive mode is disabled. I can't really think of anything else. Anyone have any info regarding this? I'm using FlashFXP if that helps.

The readme for the FTP program says that it crashes randomly and often. It's something we all just have to deal with until it's updated or a different program comes out.

When I mean often I mean..every single file. I can't get a single file to transfer from PS3 to PC. I'll try filezilla now

i use filezilla and i found that sending mass files over would crash. In doing one by one it works out quite well.

Thanks for that I only tested it for 3 minutes as I've gotta go but it was working. Hopefully it'll be able to transfer ~100gb

Question -- you said it works for single files but doesn't work for multiple files?

Did you set "Maximum number of connections" under Transfer Settings tab to 1?

That would make perfect sense in the example you're giving....

When I used FlashFXP it didn't work for anything. And by default, FXP does one file at a time. I then connected using FileZilla as suggested and it's transferring files without a problem, one connection at a time.
