Freeze ingame [CFW kmeaw 3.55]

Hello i have a slightly problem. Sometimes pretty rare i get everything freezed but ONLY when im in game (which i dont want to happen)... i never got freezed when im in xmb as far as i remember.
Some details:
My console is a ps3 80gb fat
Clean install Kmeaw CFW (Format->original 3.55->CFW 3.55 Kmeaw)
I never installed the fix permisions.pkg
the only apps that are in my ps3 is multiman latest and lv2.pkg latest
My games are in folder dev_hdd0/GAMES

Today i thought of installing fix permisions.pkg and run it, after i installed it i saw that its for LUAN12345 nvm that i didnt changed anything on my game directory i run the application black screen for 20 secs about and then back to xmb... then the games didnt even started :S

I deleted the fix permisions.pkg and rolled back to my previous state that everything works perfect online everything everything there is just a rare chance for the game to freeze very rare 1 time in 10 that im gonna launch a game.

the question is this one!
For fix permissions to become effective my games need to be on dev_hdd0/game/LUAN12345/GAMEZ? or fix permissions are fixing the disk generally? And lets say that i install and run fix permissions properly my games will work without this rare really rare freeze?

I too have found this problem.

Every now and again the PS3 freezes when playing a game, it just happened to me playing online with Homefront and also sometimes playing Black OP Zombies.

The whole PS3 freezes and the only way to get any movement from the PS3 is to have to turn it on and off from the button on the ps3 as even the controller is frozen.

Any ideas?

Does this only happen when running back-ups or does it happen when you're running discs as well?

I only play a game from backup, unless im installing a new game that Ive bought, otherwise I just leave Fifa 08 inside the PS3.

I never had any freezing on OFW playing Discs so Im guessing it has to be the CFW ans the backups. Ive also tried doing the patching method.

Is the crashing random or does it happen at fixed points in the game? Sorry for the trivial questions I'm just trying to help trouble shoot the problem...

Its very random, it could be at any point and its also very rare, maybe 2-5 times a month.

TBH its not even a problem, just wondering if anyone knew why or had the same issue.

I don't know why, but I had the same problem on my Phat 40 using Kmeaw, which is why I tried wani's cfw, hasn't happened since. I can't say it was the CFW I was using, but it was annoying me enough to try a different cfw.
