Found a Ps3 in storage at 3.55

I recently discovered a fat Ps3 in storage. What is the best CFW out at the moment? I have read lots of posts but I am having a hard time determining what the best firmware is. I just want what's compatible with most games.

If your just worried about gaming without all the bells and whistles then Kmeaw is still the best but you might want to try Rebug 3.55.2, it has heaps of extra options including "fake save data owner". Also you have the option to convert to a Debug console(you can convert back easily) which will let you play the latest games from original disc and alot of them from backup if they have an official update. Have a look at the CEX2DEX section in the forum if your interested.

I've been sticking to kmeaw myself it's satisfying my ps3 gaming needs just got Devil may cry HD collection and King of Fighters XIII on backup on mine. Although my soft-modded PS3 is now mostly an emulator/ movie player I'm just as happy with it.

Thanks to everyone who replied. I went with Kmeaw and most of my backups are working. A few of the games error out. Thanks again.
