Formatting hard drive (on PC) with CFW 3.55 (Cobra) installed - didnt revert to OFW 3.55

Hi,

I have tried with Yellow/Red/White cables as well as Component HD cables. When I turn it on the HD light blinks once very quickly and only once.

I have also tried safe mode and still do not get a picture. What could be the problem?

The PS3 is basically new!

boot into recovery menu see if that brings your signal back and you could of just used the ps3 format save removing your hdd and reset it back to factory settings.

The PS3 will get the correct beeps for safe mode but it never displays on screen.

THIS PS3 hasn't been used except to watch a few blueray movies -- I DONT THINK IT COULD POSSIBLY BE DEAD[/B].

Please advise another solution besides entering safe mode which still does not display anything.

is it a solid green light when you turn it on?

Have you tried an actual HDMI output?

It's blinks once and then turns off - nothing more. HDMI output doesnt work -- none of the three outputs work.

What is the color of the blink?
Try reseting the video options:

Make sure the system is off(standby).
Hold down the Power Button for 5-6 seconds - until you hear the second beep.
