Fix trophies after RSOD
Fix trophies after RSOD –
05-12-2012,10:18 AM
I got a rsod one year ago, finally i fixed it with the method on ps3 devwiki.
I got into factory service mode and installed the lv2diag. self . Everything is now working, i just have an issue with trophies.
When I launch a game, I got the 80010505 error: "Registration of the trophy information could not be completed. The game will quit"
I can only press X to quit the game, i am not able to play it.
I try to format the HDD, rebuild data base, delete trophy with the rebug feature.
Nothing work.
Is there a way to fix trophies ? It's not really important if i lose all of them, i just want to play games.
PS: my ps3 is a slim, firm 3.55.2 rebug, package 0.6 .

Have you tried reinstalling the firmware? Could be something didn't install right...

you have to use the notheros.pup and the fix_rsod.pkg, to fix the rsod properly. i never had luck with that self from crashserious but have fixed several rsods with the pkg
and you cannot use the notheros.pup as cfw afterwards if only gaming, as it will also lead to trophy errors on some games, but because of dev patches like that otheros++ special pup
the fix itself is based on a linux cmd which resets/rewrites the cvtrm by a systemcall/service, thus the otheros dev patch support. i have fixed my first red screen with linux itself and that specific cmd, of course with some help from those smart guys from downgrade irc channel, the founders of the fix. from linux side this function was available with graf's/glevand's reversing a long time ago, but some user found it useful for rsod by testings. some other guy then has found a userfriendly and easy way to fix the problem with a pkg. i think these guys are from gitbrew.org and linux experts
though i do not know how that lv2diag from crashserious works, if it works at all

Ok, you're going about this wrong. All you need to do is rebuild database and edit your xregistry.sys. I'll post a link to it. Not meaning to reroute, but here's how to do it:
Fix: Wrong User for Save Games and Trophies
@tpryor, that won't fix the trophy issue. It's all with the xregistry. The process of fixing rsod defaults that file.

The lv2diag self is the final version of the rsod fix, i also used the pup and pkg method but it had the same issue.
