Hey sorry if i sound like an idiot or whatever here
But i would like to play snes games and other emulators through my ps3
I'm wondering if i use jailbreak will i still be able to play the games i have online on psn as i play fifa 12 with mates and i want the new Call of duty when thats out.
Also what are the cons of jailbreaking??

Right now you have a choice. You can either play your emulators and backups OR you can play the new games and go on PSN. There's supposed to be a method of dual booting that involves swapping the hard drive (one hard drive with your CFW and another with OFW), but I don't think it's 100% working right now. I could be wrong and haven't looked it up in a while. Search for E3 Flasher and Progskeet. Do your research before you get involved with that end of it because it involves spending money on new hardware. If you just want a CFW, then you will lose PSN access until someone releases a new CFW. There's supposed to be a new method with JFW but it's up in the air right now, and I don't think anything will come of it. Like I said, I haven't researched it in a while and could be giving old info, but you should be able to find a guide somewhere if the hard drive swap is working
