Firmwar 3.33 question

Hi,
have only been using my ps3 as media streamer for a while the firmware is 3.33
is this ok to use with the JB exploit ? and if not is it possible to put 3.41 without
updating via internet and finally is there a reliable place to get 3.41 firmware
sorry if these questions are a bit obvious im a total noob and just dont want to mess up and put 3.42 on by mistake any help would be greatfully recieved

You will have to manually upgrade, you can download the firmware put it on a USB drive and upgrade. just do a Google search on how to manually update and you should find everything you need.
