Few questions from a very lost noob.

So I've been looking around at Jailbreak stuff for my PS3 for awhile now. But with so many dongles that are on sale, and then the minimus and other ones that you flash yourself, I feel completely lost.

I don't know what the best choice for me would be. I've been looking around at posts and the more I read the more I get lost. I see people talking about PSGroove and hermes or something, all these differant flash things and it just confuses me. Hell I probably couldnt even use a minimus without a tutorial telling me how to flash it and all that.

But I just want to know what the best choice of dongle would be. Cause I dont even know anything about updating all the flash stuff for jailbreaking. So I'd just need something idiot proof I guess till I knew what I was doing. I was looking at P3Free or whatever it was, PS3USB Jailbreak since it was only like 14 bucks and a few others. But as I said, the more I look around at everything the more confused I get so could just use some advice I guess.

here is a noob proof solution.... no programming .. no flashing and work s great.. Just buy a ps3key (no matter what people here say it is good.) Most of these people are experienced programmers... and most of them LIKE only what they have ... Just like the wars (Pc-Mac)(Ps3-xbox) now just get a ps3 key, put in the latest update and install open manager and you are set to go and play any game that are on the compatibility list... all the other stuff everyone talks about is for people who know about this stufff... believe me, I don't know jack about flashing and programming and this solution works.

X3max is good for noobs. It has a windows based flasher, can accept any hex file for any board, and has a microsd slot for future upgrades/extra memory needed (useful for the new Linux loaders coming out)
