I just found out I could play backups on PS3.

Could someone link me to the best tutorial for my situation?

I have a launch PS3 Phat 60gb

3.41 Firmware

I have a jailbroken Iphone 3gIphone 3g.

Also, when I do get it fixed up, am I able to use an external 320gb HD to store games?

yes just make sure to format it to fat32
