Hey, So I've been out of the PS3 scene for a little while now due to various reasons...

I sold my PS3 to a mate a while ago and it was on 3.55 Kmeaw.

He's returned it to me asking if I can update it, so, without mass debate...

Is the best way to go forward Rogero 4.30 v2.04?

I'm a little confused re the whole singstar / install pkg stuff. Does the Install PKG option no longer show on XMB?

Any quick advice would be greatly appreciated.

Also, the BD-Drive seems to be temperamental atm - anyone got any thoughts or advice? I've tried blowing it out with compressed air... I bought the Slim new ages ago and barely used the Drive (except to have a disc in as per the standard multi-man / rogero loader requirements) Dust build up?? I can't believe the drive could be faulty!??

    Regards

Rebug is the best in my opinion, but Rogero is good too I've heard. You really can't go wrong with either of them.

Oh, yes, I see 2.05 was out as of 06/01/2013.

Do I need Dean's installpkg pkg?

Rogero_CEX_4.30_v2.05.PUP there it is, just install through xmb, don't have a disk in and you'll be good to go.

multiMAN_ver_04.18.00_BASE_CEX.pkg if multiman isn't up to date you'll need that. Just delete multiman already on there and install that file. After that's installed, install this one and everything will be up to date multiMAN_ver_04.19.02.pkg
