Those sneaky attempts to block the jailbreaker are kinda stupid and vain. Its obvious that someone is gonna come up with a solution in the upcoming weeks/months.

If a simple wheel can make the game work, then the jailbreakers can do it too. Just needs the proper update.
Hacking has started on the PS3, we found the breach, no way they're stopping it now.

You do know that about 80% of a game's overall sales are made in the first 2 weeks, right?

It's not just about a wheel. I'm using a Logitech Driving Force GT and the game isn't working (stucks on the name input screen at the beginning).

They must have embedded something into the game(Not an update) that makes it not work. Someone told me yesterday even his NBA 2k11 demo game does the same thing as F1:2010 so Sony has figured out a way to make the game not work with the controller..Someone will figure it out. Look at Microsoft, all they did was ban people from XBOX Live, still didn't stop people from flashing their systems. Sony is smart but hackers are smarter, they will find what that hidden secret is in the game and figure out how to fix it

It is just about a wheel. The G27 has something that makes the game boot, thats all.
If the G27 is not just a wheel, what else is it then ?

Because you said that attempts to block jailbreak are stupid and vain because someone will crack it after a few weeks and months.

It's not stupid or vain because most sales are made within the first 2 weeks or so. So unless it's cracked within the first 2 weeks, a game doesn't lose much in terms of sales to piracy.

The game is booting with any wheel on a jailbreaked system (you are avoiding the "missing controller" screen).

But its crashing at a later step.

I guess you're neither have the game nor a wheel, right? So what do you want to tell?

Most probably the game isn't coded for playing on a debug console. There's no big anti-jailbreak secret.

Edit: The jailbreak is working as a usb-hub. So I guess this can cause problems to other usb-devices (like a wheel connected to another usb-slot)

Yeah, thats why i'm calling it a "sneaky attempt". I totally agree with you.

Finding that breach with the PSjailbreaker was a lot tougher. I believe a solution will come up soon for this.

This is just the start, once the machine is on Sony won't be able to contain all the updates and modifications all the keys will be going through. I assume they'll just dispatch a firmware every month the first year, then just "give up" when they realize its gonna cost them more money than what its worth.

Because developing all those counter measures actually cost a lot of money to Sony.

Yeah I can't believe that Sony is somehow smarter then Microsoft. Microsoft pretty much gave up going after people who were downloading XBOX games..yeah they banned people from XBOX Live but thats pretty much all they can do..Sony on the other hand puts something on the game itself to make it so it wont work with the jailbreak. Sony already has the psjailbreak, they probably looked at the code and added something so that it would not work with any system that has the psjailbreak attached to it. Someone will figure it out eventually because its pretty obvious they already put this in every new game that will be released. I tel ya what, I am SO glad that I did not spend 130 buck on a piece of plastic garbage, I made my own for 30 bucks and I am satisfied. Someone will figure out how to fix this, just a matter of time
