experiencing HUGE problems using PS3Break :(

anyone else who has a PS3Break, could you please help me?
I can't seem to use the PS3Break 2 consecutive times without "force shutting down" the PS3....
To go into detail:
when I first got my PS3Break, everything worked fine; connected in the USB port, did the booting thing, entered Dev Mode and no problems whatsoever.
Then, I left the PS3Break inside the USB Port. After trying to boot into Dev Mode again, it fails....(I did the booting correctly)
So I tried shutting down the console (into standby), then removing the PS3Break, power down, then plugging the PS3Break back in and then did the whole boot-up sequence......still didn't work...
EDIT:
Never mind, I figured it out; turns out I have to hold the eject button longer during the boot-up. Weird, cuz I really didn't had to during the first two times
anyway, sorry for the whole panic thing, but I was seriously freaking out
at least I hope I have prevented someone having to go through the same thing I did
The only way (thusfar) I know to get it work again is when I accidently enter normal mode, I remove the PS3Break and shut down the console.
The problem is however, when removing the PS3Break after it failed to enter Dev Mode, everything freezes: controllers won't work or sync, even shutting down the system with the on/off button doesn't go like it should.....
I don't know what to do...anyone else experiencing the same problems? It can't be a faulty PS3Break unit; I order two (one for my cousin) and both have the same issues....
