Hi guys.. any steps on how to do this? Is it possible to start with? I have the fat ps3 and I think am on 80GIG. I need to expand the space to be able to copy some heavy games onto it. Kindly assist.

    Cheers

It will probably be a good idea to do this when you PS3 has been switched off for a while, as the hot screws might be a bit hard to unscrew due to heat expansion. Use a proper sized phillips head screw driver so you dont stuff up the screw head. Follow the vid and you should be good to go since the PS3 will format the drive for you. Im not sure whether you have an early or later 80 gig so you may want to setup a flash drive with a pup of the OFW version of whatever firmware your PS3 is on already(PS3 will ask you to install firmware if it needs it).

I take it you know what folder the PUP should be in, but I'll put it in here anyways just incase: /PS3/UPDATE/
